"WE" Can Empower Our Youth to Succeed in a Global Climate!
WE can empower our youth to succeed in today's global climate by teaching them to:
- Respect the equality of human beings despite differences
- Embrace their Individual significance and responsibility
- Successfully collaborate with others
Although the world is becoming smaller and smaller, people in general are embracing their individualism more and more. This is a good thing as long as we are able to remember that although we are indeed unique individuals, we are still equally valuable human beings, and we can become exponentially greater in thinking, being, and doing by using our individual strengths to cooperate with each other.
Gone are the days of the race or competition for success. What is needed now is individual responsibility and collaboration to insure success and survival for all. We must empower our youth with this knowledge that they CAN and DO make a difference in the world, and even that we are depending on them to do so!
We are currently working on a program to teach students about the "WE" Paradigm and how it can help them to resolve conflicts, feel confident in being themselves, recognize responsibility as power, and contribute to their communities and world-wide social causes.
