The Power in WE is a simple yet profound paradigm for personal and global transformation! |
The Power in We can help you build a dream team for any purpose whether it be trying to create a better relationship with someone, building a stronger family, or increasing morale and productivity in a small business or major corporation! You can build a dream team by simply adhering to the three principles of the Power in We Paradigm:
Using these three principles, we can build and unstoppable team where each person can feel empowered and significant while the whole team works like a finely tuned machine-meeting and exceeding its goals both as a group and individually. The first principle, we are all the same means means that we as human beings are the same at our most basic level. We all have similar wants and needs. We all have weaknesses, and we all make mistakes. We are all motivated by the pursuit of happiness although the definition of this may be different for each of us. This sameness is what makes it possible for us to relate to each other and to understand each other. If we can view others on this level, it helps us to communicate better with each other and to respect each other more. Communication and respect are critical elements in building a team. We are all the same also means that we are all equal. There is no superior or inferior being. Even though one person may be placed in a leadership position, it does not mean that he is any more important than the one who is not in such a role. All team members are just as important as the next in creating a great team. Each member plays an important role, and it is important that we recognize this for a team like a chain is only as strong as its weakess link! Therefore ALL links must be allowed to play their strengths. This brings us to the second principle. We are all different. This means that we as human beings all have unique talents and gifts. We all have different opinions, thoughts, and ideas. We all have a special way that we can contribute to the group. If we can recognize individual strengths in others and encourage them to use those in their role on the team, the individual members will be happy, and the team will benefit. It is important to put a team together who can complement each other with their different strengths and talents without stepping on each other. You don't want a team of people who are all highly creative or a team of people who are all pragmatic. You need a little bit of everything to make a whole. The third principle, we are all a team, means that we should work as a team not as competitors. If we can get people resolute on a common goal working in their strength and using their talents while communicating and cooperating with the other members, we have the dream team. There is no place for competition among team members. Instead, let's strive for motivation among team members where team members lift each other to higher levels of performance by the example they set and by the encouragement they give. Continue to raise the standard of performance within the team by raising the expectations and raising the trust level. This is so much more powerful that pitting people against each other. The main key to this making this concept work is that we get people to see that they as individuals are important AND that everyone else is just as important. We need each other. We are stronger as a team. One person cannot fill all roles or fill the roles they are not equipped for. Once people learn how to relate to each other using this concept of "WE," big things can happen. You can have the team of your dreams! |
