The Power in WE is a simple yet profound paradigm for personal and global transformation! |
The Power in We can help you build REAL confidence! Not the false confidence that comes from pride, but REAL and lasting confidence. The kind that you feel when it seems as though the universe is on your side! Lack of confidence comes from many different things, but mostly it is a feeling of inferiority or a feeling of threat from others. This often stems from past experience or past conditioning and becomes something that we just assume. If you have ever found yourself feeling inferior to others, threatened by them, or just having a general lack of confidence, the Power in We can help. The first principle of WE is that we are all the same. This means we are all equally valuable. There simply are no inferior or superior people. Often things like amount of education, social classes, employment, race, gender, or even geographical location can create a perceived ladder of importance among people. People begin to place themselves and other people somewhere along the imaginary ladder based on the aforementioned statistics. This is not real, only perceived. In reality, man exists on a horizontal plane, not a vertical line. Start seeing others as your equal--no matter what their perceived differences are. Try to see the ways in which you are the same and find the things you have in common. Realize that even people who seemingly have it all, still have challenges seen or unseen just like you do. Pick out a hero, and then know that you are equal in value, just as important, and every bit as capable as that hero is. The second principle of WE says that we are all different. Have you ever heard the phrase "you can't compare apples to oranges"? In order to let go of the comparison ladder described above, you must see yourself as not better or worse than someone else, just different. We are all uniquely valuable. See the unique value of you. What do you have to offer the rest of humankind? Every person has something unique to them that they do the best. It is their gift, their talent. Start looking for yours. Realize that only you can do what you do or more importantly be who you are. There is great confidence and personal power in that. Once you have some idea of your gifts and talents, then you can look for ways to share them. Use them to provide value for others so that they can grow, and your confidence can grow along with them. The third principle of WE says that we are all a team. See your fellow man as your teammate rather than your competitor, boss, coach, critic, or anything else. Learn to understand that we are all team players. We all do different things to make the team work, and every member of the team is necessary and valuable for optimal performance of the team. You have a valuable contribution; you are a valuable member. When you see others, see them for their valuable contribution to the team--not a contribution that is more or less important than yours, just different. There is an age-old question that comes from the Bible New Testament in Corinthians. It is 'which part of the body is more important?' The answer is the missing part. Great confidence will come from finding out what your contribution is and living it! It helps to remember the team within as well. That is your body, mind, spirit team. Remember that self-preservation and protection is the #1 priority for the mind. It will come up with sometimes limiting or negative thoughts that may be false in an effort to protect you. It’s not meant to sabotage you, but it often does. Question your thoughts. Don’t just take them for truth—especially when it comes to guessing how others might perceive you. You may have to work on new ways of thinking and train your mind by overriding it sometimes. Lastly, remember that the universe is working on our behalf! We are also a team with a Higher Power, and when we align ourselves with His will, nothing can stop us! Our fear subsides, and we are free to reach our full potential in life with unstoppable confidence. |
